Maro, son of Euanthes, had given me, the priest of Apollo, the
god who used to watch over Ismarus.

Though the name of Ismaros contains root *mor- 'sea', suggesitng
salt pans of Salona, an identification with Trogir is forced through
the sweetness of the The island of XXX opposite Trogir is known
for its honey
Also, this wine is one which had wretched and hallucinatory effects
on whomever drank it, suggesting some sort of wormwood liquor
(absinthe) ...connections with tragos, trogos, <spelt> etc....
The very name of the KIKONES itself suggests a Grecizing (yielding
the senseless meaning of 'stork') from a form si-po- (+ones)
That Ismaros was the only town visited by Odysseus, other than
ITHAKA (Donja Vrucica) itself, points to the economic decadence
of the entire region of Troy after the Trojan War.
